I firmly believe that the IRSS should position itself as a premier international organization that unwaveringly supports scientists globally in their research, application, and innovation of techniques within the realm of Rough Sets. The IRSS should be dedicated to fostering a dynamic and inclusive community that continually pushes the boundaries of knowledge in this field, ensuring that Rough Sets remains at the forefront of scientific exploration.

I am committed to advocating for new collaboration initiatives that stimulate intellectual exchange and professional growth. I will endeavor to enhance and expand the existing summer schools and training camps, tailoring them further to meet the needs of young scientists, and thereby fostering and nurturing the next generation of leaders within the Rough Sets community. Furthermore, I will work tirelessly to enhance the reputation and standing of conferences and journals focused on Rough Sets, thereby elevating the profile and impact of research conducted in this domain.

To broaden our membership base and deepen our global reach, I am dedicated to attracting and cultivating a diverse array of talent, particularly those possessing an international perspective and specialized expertise. Recognizing the value of diverse perspectives, I will endeavor to create an environment where scholars from all corners of the world feel welcomed and supported.

I am committed to facilitating regular interactions through reciprocal visits, joint research endeavors, and academic forums, fostering a culture of collaboration and intellectual curiosity. By intensifying academic exchanges and cooperation, I aim to accelerate the pace of discovery and innovation within the field of Rough Sets, promoting the rapid translation and application of academic achievements.

If elected as the Vice President, I will work closely with the President and Executive Members to further enhance the international influence and competitiveness of the IRSS, establishing it as the preeminent organization for those passionate about advancing the frontiers of Rough Sets. With a steadfast commitment to collaboration, innovation, and excellence, I will work together with the Society's members to shape the future of this dynamic field, driving progress, and fostering a vibrant and united community of scholars dedicated to the exploration and advancement of Rough Sets.

Vision Statement

The first task of the Vice President is to accomplish his/her duties according to IRSS Bylaws. So, if appointed I will fulfil all the tasks required by the role: assist IRSS president, prepare reports, collect proposals for IRSS sponsored events and in particular look for next IJCRS conference organizers, coordinate next elections in 2026.

Moreover, I will try to develop existing initiatives and to propose new ones with the aim of making IRSS grow and making its members feel part of it. Among the others:
- Communication: renew the website, attract more subscribers to the mailing list and also encourage its use by subscribers, continue and improve the collaboration with other societies and communities (such as granular computing and knowledge discovery).
- Event organization: expand the scope of the IJCRS conference to include granular computing and knowledge discovery, encourage the organization of special sessions and workshops at non IRSS sponsored events.
- Youth working groups: besides working groups on administrative tasks we can also think to add youth groups willing to collaborate on scientific tasks.
